Wheelhouse café
The Wheelhouse Café is our community café at Antioch, a safe, warm, and welcoming space where everyone is invited to gather, eat, drink, chat, and relax.
The café takes its name from the building's history. This is where the Stepney Wheel was once manufactured, and you can still see the blue plaque on the wall outside. We're proud to be part of Llanelli's story.
When we're open
We're open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am–2pm (last food orders 1:30pm).
We serve affordable, nutritious food and drinks and our pay it forward scheme means that if you're able to, you can contribute towards a meal or drink for someone who might not otherwise be able to afford one. It's one of our favourite things about this place.
We also host community groups, including FAN (Friends and Neighbours), which meets every Wednesday 9:30–10:30am. It's a simple, friendly space for people to connect and build friendships.

Hire the café
The Wheelhouse Café is also available for hire outside of opening hours - perfect for coffee mornings, informal meetings, and community gatherings. Available from £25/hour.
